My career journey began at the Good Food cashier. Working at Good Food in Palmotićeva immediately appealed to me. Even though I was just starting my career, I was instantly drawn to the young team. The job was flexible, which suited me perfectly while I was studying, and most importantly, I always had great interactions with people. Although I was working as a cashier at the time, the job was truly dynamic and completely fulfilling.
After only a few months, I was given the opportunity to try working in the office. I eagerly accepted every task, and because of that, I wasn’t afraid to express my desire to grow further — the company recognized and supported my ambition. Although I was studying economics, specifically marketing and accounting, I found my true calling in the human resources department. That’s why I would recommend to all young people to gain practical experience alongside their studies — it helps you better understand which path will make you feel most fulfilled.
My experience working on both sides — in the field and in the office — both then and now, helps me better understand and support our employees. That’s the reason I truly enjoy my current position. My advice to everyone is to be persistent, embrace opportunities, and of course, believe in yourself. By working hard and learning, the right path will reveal itself — often even better than you could have imagined.
